The Seki Magoroku Gyuto Knife combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with modern materials for professional-level performance in the kitchen. Designed for versatility, the Gyuto is ideal for slicing, chopping, and dicing a wide variety of ingredients.
The blade is constructed from a stainless steel clad composite—featuring a high-carbon stainless steel core for excellent edge retention and cutting performance, encased between layers of stainless steel for added corrosion resistance and structural durability.
The handle is made from heat-resistant nylon (up to 170°C) and POM resin (up to 140°C), providing a secure, comfortable grip that stands up to regular kitchen use. A stainless steel bolster adds balance and enhances control during cutting tasks.
