Fishing across New Zealand’s toughest conditions—from murky harbours to clear coastal waters—we kept running into the same issue: the fish were there, but they weren’t committing.
The difference came down to visibility.

HOW TO USE SNAPPER CANDY'S-
Rigging Snapper Candy UV Beads is simple but deadly effective. Slide one or more beads onto your trace above the hook, either on their own or paired with bait, to create an irresistible combo of flash and movement.
For surfcasting or straylining, the beads add subtle lift that keeps your bait just off the seabed and in prime strike territory.
On pulley, dropper, or flasher rigs, they act as visual triggers that mimic wounded prey, drawing snapper in even when your bait is sitting still.
