Description

Sunline Tapered leaders offer a convenient solution for incorporating a shock leader into your surfcasting line. For optimal knot strength, it's advisable to knot lines of similar diameters when joining your main line.

With Sunline tapered leaders, there's a range of diameter options available. If the leader's diameter seems a bit thin in comparison to your main line, gradually move up the taper until you reach the ideal diameter, then trim the leader at that point.

Most nylon lines tend to absorb water through microscopic pores, resulting in salt retention that can make the line appear milky. This absorption often leads to line hardening and a rough texture. However, Sunline products are manufactured using a water-repellent resin processing method. This unique manufacturing process creates fishing lines that are stronger, smoother, and longer-lasting, mitigating issues related to water absorption and ensuring better overall performance.
